Note: The street address for the Museum is 602 Boalsburg Pike, Boalsburg PA. However, this address is only for the administrative office and its parking lot. The public entrance and the public parking lot is located between Boalsburg Pike and Shingletown Road on Business 322/South Atherton St./Boal Ave.
From Points South and East
Take US 322 West out of Harrisburg towards Lewistown and State College. After driving through the Seven Mountains area, and for several miles after 322 becomes a two lane road, take Business 322 into Boalsburg. Proceed straight through the second signal light in town. The Main Entrance will be on your right.
From Points South and West
Take I-99 North from the PA Turnpike (Bedford exit) towards Altoona and Tyrone. Make a right onto US 220 East and another right after several miles onto US 322 East. Follow 322 over Skytop Mountain and remain on the 322 Bypass around State College. This route offers a scenic view of Mount Nittany to the left and the Penn State University’s Beaver stadium to the right. Proceed past the stadium exit and Route 26/State College exit. Boalsburg and the Military Museum is the next exit. Make a right off the exit ramp and proceed straight to a signal light. Make a left at the light onto Business 322. The Main Entrance is one country block on the left.
From All Points North
Take Exit 161 (Bellefonte) from I-80 and travel on US 220/I-99 towards State College. After several miles, Mount Nittany will be on your left and Penn State University’s Beaver Stadium will be directly in front of you and the exit for U.S. 322 East will be on the right. Take the extended ramp and merge onto 322 East. Go past the Route 26/State College exit. Boalsburg and the Military Museum is the next exit. Make a right off the exit ramp and proceed straight to a signal light. Make a left at the light onto Business 322. The Main Entrance is one country block on the left.
