Join the Bellefonte Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution on Friday, June 14, 2019 at 4:30 p.m. at the Pennsylvania Military Museum in Boalsburg to honor Anna Wagner Keichline, a 2019 inductee for the NSDAR Women in American History Award.
As the first woman to be registered as an architect in Pennsylvania, an inventor who was granted seven patents, was a suffragist, and a Special Agent in the Military Intelligence Division of the Army during World War I, Anna Wagner Keichline, (1889-1943) was as unique and accomplished as one could imagine.
DAR member and Anna’s great niece, Nancy Perkins FIDSA, will give a visual presentation about Keichline’s extraordinary life based on her many years of research. Anna’s career path and life will inspire all ages, particularly girls who may be considering careers in architecture or industrial design and all are welcome at this event.
Please plan to join us for this celebration to honor Anna Keichline at the NSDAR’s Flag Day event.
