  • Pennsylvania Military Museum 51 Boal Avenue Boalsburg, PA, 16827 United States (map)

Join the Pennsylvania Military Museum at the Blair County African American Heritage Festival on Saturday, July 26, and Sunday, July 27, from 12PM-8PM. This community event will have craft vendors, food stations, entertainment, education, and more, all while celebrating African American Heritage. The Pennsylvania Military Museum, the Blair County Historical Society, and the Blair County African American Heritage Project will host the History Kid’s Corner. This station will discuss the contributions of African Americans, both locally and nationally, with children. With coloring sheets, history games, and other educational programs, families will walk away with a better understanding of African American history. If kids complete each activity, they will be gifted a free swag bag full of additional activities and coloring utensils.
