Join the Pennsylvania Military Museum on Saturday, December 6, and Sunday, December 7, from 10AM-4PM for The Ghost Front: A World War II Experience. By examining the Battles of the Hurtgen Forest and the Battle of the Bulge, the public can learn of the leadership, endurance, and sacrifices of American soldiers in the winter of 1944. Foxhole displays will explore frontline life and individual roles of soldiers. For more comprehensive breakdowns, visitors can join guided patrol tours at 11AM, 1PM, and 3PM. Families can participate in the History Mystery Kid’s Program at 12PM. A tactical demonstration will showcase weapons and maneuvers at 2PM. Santa Claus and his Willy’s Jeep will be available for Christmas photos all day as well! Food and information vendors will also be on-site. This event is free and open to the public. Donations are encouraged. Museum merchandise will also be available for purchase. Proceeds benefit the Pennsylvania Military Museum.
