Living historians encamp on the grounds of the Pennsylvania Military Museum portraying the combat soldier of the Vietnam era in Southeast Asia. Daily programs include accompanying squads on Recon Patrols and a tactical ambush demonstration at 1:30 p.m.
The Liberty Warbirds will be unable to attend this weekend’s event, Vietnam Revisited.
The helicopter (Huey 823) has been grounded due to tail rotor and drive shaft repairs; the flight crew expects the helicopter to operational later this month. We will notify all of you, along with the media, of the reschedule date of when Huey 823 will be onsite for flights.
The remainder of the event will continue, including combat patrols, demonstrations, historic encampment, lectures, and tours.
For additional information contact the Museum. Press contact is Tyler O. Gum, Museum Director, or Joe Horvath, Museum Educator.
