All proceeds of our online store benefit the Friends of the Pennsylvania Military Museum, a 501(c)3 nonprofit corporation that supports the Pennsylvania Military Museum. These proceeds help the Friends to achieve their mission to protect and preserve, for future generations, the legacy of Pennsylvanians who served in the military of the United States, and to support the Pennsylvania Military Museum and the 28th Division Memorial Shrine.
We are committed to providing excellent customer service to the best of our abilities. Below is the FAQ of our store policies & procedures, including our return policy. Q: Are taxes included in item prices, or will taxes be added at checkout?
A: Sales tax is included in the prices of all taxable items in the online store. No sales tax will be added at checkout.
Q: How long will my order take to process?
A: We will fulfill all orders as quickly as possible. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we currently consist of a staff of two part-time employees and volunteers, and we are typically closed for operations all Mondays & Tuesdays. Please anticipate several days for your order to be prepared for shipment.
Q: What are the options for shipping?
A: Due to our status as a small nonprofit, we often have to pay full price for freight to send shipments to our customers. We have chosen to utilize USPS Parcel Select Ground Service through PayPal, as it currently offers the lowest shipping prices that we can receive. Shipping costs are determined by weight of shipment, so a greater quantity of items or an order of heavy objects will likely be more expensive to ship than a lighter or smaller order. If expedited shipping is needed, please contact us before placing your order so we can arrange the shipping and charge accordingly.
Q: How long will it take my order to ship?
A: USPS Parcel Select Ground estimates 2-9 days in transit once the package has been shipped.
Q: What is your return policy?
A: Items can be returned within 30 calendar days upon receiving your order. Returns can be made by returning the item(s) at our physical store location at the Pennsylvania Military Museum, or they can be sent back in the mail using a return shipment label that is available for you to print from PayPal's Transaction Details page after you submit your purchase. Unfortunately, we are not able to cover the costs of return shipping, but we suggest utilizing PayPal's Return Shipping Refund, which is available to any customer with a PayPal account. All payment refunds will be issued through PayPal.
If any items are damaged or if you failed to receive any items in your order, please contact us to arrange your return or correct your order.
Q: Does your online store include all of the same inventory as your physical store?
A: Our online store does not include all of the inventory available in our physical store. Currently, our online store consists of our custom merchandise and items that we have in large quantities. We invite you to visit our physical store to browse all of the merchandise we have available!
Q: Are special orders available upon request?
A: Yes. If you are searching for a specific item or if you are interested in ordering an item from our physical store, please contact us and we will do our best to assist you.
