Welcome!
The Pennsylvania Military Museum is located adjacent to Atherton Street and Boalsburg Pike - just off of Route 322 - and a short distance from the Pennsylvania State University campus.
The Museum is comprised of a gallery, grounds (featuring a pavilion and paved 1/2 mile path), exterior displays, and the 28th Division Shrine & Monuments.
Other than during special events, there is no fee to park and explore the exterior grounds and displays, though there are fees associated with touring the gallery and to attend various events.
At this time, face coverings / masking & social distancing is not required, though visitors are welcome to do so. This is of course, subject to change based on Dept. of Health guidance.

The Pennsylvania Military Museum is a community gathering place welcoming audiences of all abilities and backgrounds to gather and explore the story of the Commonwealth’s men and women serving in the Armed Forces, civilian activities on the home front, and Pennsylvania’s contributions to military innovation.
The Pennsylvania Military Museum is administered by the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission and is actively supported by the Friends of the Pennsylvania Military Museum, which is a non-profit, community-based organization.
Our Museum is proud to partner with the National Endowment for the Arts, and Blue Star Families, to be an active participant in, “Blue Star Museums.” Blue Star Museums is a partnership between the National Endowment for the Arts and Blue Star Families, in collaboration with the Department of Defense and museums across America, offering free admission to the nation’s active-duty military personnel and their families, including National Guard and Reserve.
